FALL / WINTER 19
For the upcoming FW19 season, Tat Fung has been exploring the urban landscape by deep diving into the vibrant trends of cities. We have developed a series of unique and new denim fabrics with specific focus on sustainability, heritage, performance and movement to complement and enhance the urban lifestyle.

It is important for us to become more conscious about the choices we make when living together in cities around the world. Longer lasting, better performing and functional products are the future, and that is where we are heading with this collection.

Urban landscapes are some of the most complex and interesting scenes around the world. These conditions require clothing to not only suit basic needs, but to also meet style requirements and the diversity of active lifestyles. This has inspired us at Tat Fung to develop a new direction of fabrics with focus on the important things of future urban environments. It is no longer enough to only offer basics with a single use or functionality - Tat Fung challenges you to move into the future with fabrics that offer a diversity of needed qualities.

ANTI-SEE-THROUGH WHITE DENIM
Dark underwear or fabrics often shows through white denim, and we have found the solution to this. Our anti-see-through denim uses yarn that deflects light of the fabric to hide anything under the surface.

CLIMATE CONTROL DENIM
​
As mentioned in the pretext, denim of the future needs to offer more than the basics. Our climate control fabrics offer proactive protection to battle cold weather by controlling heat and moisture absorption. This keeps you comfortable in your denim all day long - even when it is freezing cold outside. We offer a range of new developments with Thermolite, Thermolite IR, COOLMAX AllSeason, and EcoMade from Invista, as well as Sorbtek from Unifi.

WATER AND STAIN REPELLENT DENIM
It is often the small things in life we take for granted that saves us when the world surprises us. We have developed a new range of water and stain repellant fabrics that makes you better prepared for the daily life. This denim fabrics got you covered when the sudden rainfall hits on your way home. It also gives you one less thing to worry about when wearing white denim. With our stain repellant finishing, you can feel safe all day - even when people accidentally spill their coffee on you.

REFLECTIVE DENIM
Our reflective denim are a functionality innovation highlight for the season. Woven with reflective yarn, this fabrics litteraly lights up when exposed to light. This makes it perfect for safety purposes when riding a bicycle or walking along the road in the dark, and it further extends as a cool fashion feature for edgy brands. You will not believe how cool this fabric is until you have seen it for yourself, so make sure to come visit us this season.

NON-FADE DENIM
Have you ever bought a pair of jeans and actually wanted them to stay the same color as when you bought them? Our non-fading denim fabric retains its fresh indigo color over time and looks solid for years to come.

Denim that feels comfortable when sitting close to the body and lets you move around freely with no restrictions is important in an active lifestyle. Our new collection of sculpt and shape denim offers the best of recovery and growth performance, while ensuring comfort throughout the day.

BI-STRETCH AND HIGH-STRETCH
We continuously strive to enhance our 360 degree stretch denim and take performance to the next level. This season we have developed a new range of carefully designed stretch fabrics that utilizes advanced fibers and technology to give some of the best of multi-directional and high stretch denim fabrics on the market.
LOW-GROWTH

With stretch fabrics comes the challenge of managing growth. At Tat Fung we take the practical implications of growth seriously, and we have been dedicated to fight soggy denim. This season, we are proud to present a new series of low-growth fabrics.

SELVEDGE
​
We have the capacity to weave selvedge denim on traditional looms, and this season we have been experimenting with combining old techniques with new thinking and technology. Our new selvedge collection includes both technical innovations and new looks.

RAW AND MARBLE
​
This season, we are presenting a full range of new marble looking vintage fabrics that perfectly matches the current denim trends. Our vintage fabric collection is developed with a fine balance of trend, history and tradition. Either in its raw or washed form, these fabric ages beatifully with use.

INSPIRED BY TRADITION

The new heritage aims for authentic looks and modern technology - giving us a series of fabrics with supreme performance and comfort. We have travelled from east to west and back again to study the roots of denim culture, and we are now proud to present our latest collection.
